Brazil is a huge country and it has it all - fabulous beaches along it's long coastline; World Heritage preserved colonial towns; a vast array of national parks offering a wide variety of landscapes and activities; and then there's the Amazon, with it's incredible diversity. And of course, there are the Brazilian people - warm, friendly and very alive.
Neighbouring Ecuador and Colombia are two of South America's most exciting tourist destinations. We spent two weeks in each getting to know some of their highlights.
Dodgy Knees
Our site is a travel blog for people 50 and over who like to travel independently - to organise and manage their own trips rather than group travel. We also like to go to places that many older travellers avoid in order to show that, with a little planning and care, you can visit almost anywhere in the world.
